Join us for the last seminar in our Sustainable Landscape Series on “Growing Heirloom Vegetables” this Saturday, May 21, from 10 am till noon in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, TX.  The cost is just $5 and there will be a door prize drawing.  We have a terrific speaker lined up - Leslie Finical Halleck, owner of Halleck Horticultural.

If you're ready to grow food in your own backyard, this class on growing Heirloom Vegetables will help you get started. There are many benefits to growing Heirloom vegetables. You'll learn about specific Heirloom varieties that are suited to our N. Texas climate, which varieties to plan now, plus important basic cultural information for the backyard vegetable garden.

Please RSVP to me so we have enough handouts:  asmith@cityofallen.org, 214-509-4553.  Thanks!
