Sun, May 22 - Herbal Remedies Using Native Plants When Possible from
2 - 4 pm. Amber Stevenson starts with an overview of herbal remedies
including plant basics, tools needed, and sources of herbs. She will
then teach types of remedies and dosing information. Class is free and
you will make two remedies: A general headache and a sinus headache.
Students bring a ziploc bag for sinus headache remedy and a canning
jar for making peppermint lavender oil. Second floor classroom of
Central Market, 5750 East Lovers Ln at Greenville, Dallas 75206, one
block east of North Central Expwy. When you face the building, enter
in the left doors and then turn to your right. You will see stairs and
an elevator for access to the second floor classrooms. Class space is
limited here and the instructor is donating the ingredients so please
let me know if you are coming so she can plan for everyone.
