Hello to everyone!  I am so happy to have found this board, because I definitely need help learning how to garden.  I am in Johnson County just south of Burleson.  In the past my husband and I have only grown tomatoes, but this past year was my first year of retirement, so I finally had the time to develop a REAL vegetable garden this past spring.  Am looking forward to a fall garden and am expanding a little for that.  Seems way too hot and dry to be thinking about starting new crops, but everything I read says it's time...maybe even PAST time for some vegetables.  Glad to have this forum as a resource!

Thanks for being a part of the community Gale!   I'm ready for some cooler temperatures myself.  I hope you learn from some of the knowledge here and share it too!

Thank you!  I'm pretty new to gardening, but if I have something to offer, I certainly will.   Smiley
