Hi, I have been fooling around with my home gardens for years.  Two years ago I decided to incorporate xeroscaping into my landscaping.  This year I added a raised bed with kale and lettuces in it.  They've done so well, that I'm ready to start planting an early vegetable garden.

I just joined the group, and I've enjoyed reading about everyone's experiences. I wish there were some classes in the Fort Worth area - driving to Plano seems like traveling out of state!  (That seems odd now since I graduated from high school in Richardson!)

I look forward to learning more from everyone.

Hi Linda, nice to hear from you!

I'd love to see pictures of your landscaping if you have any.  (sure others would like to see too)  I'm on year 2 of campaigning my wife to let me change ours up from the standard lawn and two trees!

We did have a Citizen Gardener class in Fort Worth last year.  I hope to have more too!   I know what you mean about seeming like a drive across the state though.  haha
