New Farmers Market
«

Hello! I just wanted to let everyone in our area know about the new Farmers Market we will be opening in May (2012). The location will be on our farm in Annetta (between Aledo and Weatherford) - on FM5. We will be a "growers only" market and are currently looking for folks interested in selling their fresh produce/flowers, etc. I'll be happy to send more information to anyone interested. My email address is

Good to hear the 'growers only' part -- I hear lots of complaints about farmers markets with produce from all over the place!

Thanks Brian. Yes, we really want our market to be as "genuine" as possible. I just love the idea of a fresh air, family friendly environment where folks can come and enjoy interacting with the actual farmers/growers/producers. I know it might be difficult - keeping my fingers crossed that I can find enough gardners/farmers interested in selling their produce. Spread the word!!!

I hope it will turn into a success! Speaking of being genuine, I think it helps here online to use real names, that way when people meet you in person, they connect the real person with the online person. If you would like to change your screen name to your real name, here is how it is done:
