Glad I found you!

Hello,
My name is Courtney and I have been working as an indoor garden technician for a small
company for the last two years. It's been so much fun learning indoor plants but now I'm hoping to meet people who will help me expand my knowledge into native Texas landscapes and organic vegetable gardening. I'd love to eventually become a permaculture designer/organizer, native plant nursery owner, or maybe a teacher for horticulture. Ive joined some Dallas gardening groups, gardening forums, and I'm reading every book I can on the subject. I'd love to hear anyone's suggestions on how to become more involved. I enjoying volunteering so I will definitely trade work for knowledge!
I built a 4x6 ft raised bed but I haven't planted anything yet. And I have a back yard that I could see transforming into a productive kitchen garden that could help provide organic food for my local market.
Thanks for having me,
Courtney
