Whilst doing a little research for a new paper (and a new crop), re-stumbled upon this (from years ago) - which you may find of considerable interest and very instructive:

http://www.mycorrhizae.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Plant-List-11-08.pdf

But also see: http://www.mycorrhizae.com/

Mycorrizæ is something I think we tend to ignore (I certainly have - as I'm inclined to get all wrapped up with bacterial inoculants) - but this is really important.  Dr. Mike is legendary in the Mycorrizæ field...

We're in the process of doing a complete redesign of our webcyte and will include this, as well as other interesting (and hopefully useful) links to the webcytes of others who have potentially interesting products, services and information (from none of which shall we make a dime, by the way).

One of these days, we're gonna have to talk about the reasons for, and the making of, fungal compost tea...

Brian - Spoke with the lab just now to get some details in order to respond to your question.  The net result is that you've stirred up a new TPSL© paper.  The paper will discuss the making, use and caveats (using the wrong kind can actually kill your plants) of the four basic kinds of compost.  Seems we already have a PowerPoint presentation on this - but I haven't seen it.  The lab is sending it to me to reduce to a paper of hopefully no more than two pages.  Expect to have it ready in a week or less.  I suppose you already know how to make the tea - as there are very many references on this, but maybe what is not clear is the different kinds...
