...is now available!  This one ended up being a giant 8-pager!  It shows step-by-step two bare root planting projects, what we found when we uncovered some "professionally-installed" previously-planted trees and comparisons between "de-pot the things and drop 'em in the hole" versus bare root planting.  Also included is an extensive section about "Things to Keep in Mind" - giving you the essential pointers on planting and root care.  Very much attention is given to root flares, root flares, root flares!  Of course, the famous, gifted and wise arborist, G. Sandy Rose, ASCA, provided a lot of consultation on this, as did our new Vice-President of Research, Dr. Larry Zibilske.  Hope you'll find this interesting and informative - it applies generally to all trees - including orchards.
