I'll be giving a presentation on soil testing at the Green Garden Club meeting on Tuesday, August 7.  The business portion starts at 7 pm and the action-packed presentation will start at 8 pm.  The address is 741 Mason Lane, Waxahachie.

The title of the presentation is An Overview Of Soil Testing.  It will discuss what a soil test is; the forms of soil nutrients; the plant-unavailability of nutrients; how to make nutrients available - and much more.  Of course, this will be practical information of interest to any gardener.

Hope to see you there...

Last night, I am told, was a success!  Everyone seemed to have a good time - and they claimed that they learned alot!

Thanks to Marilyn and Donelle for their kind words and encouragement!  We had quite a nice time and the attendees (about 20) were very kind and asked very intelligent questions!

Anyhow, thanks to the Green Garden Club of Waxahachie for a very nice time!...We presented to a pretty mch packed house!

Of course, I was concentrated on all of the things I could have said better, afterwards...  And my wife took great delight in pointing out all of the things I did wrong or could have done much better...

In any case, all of the folks there were exceeding gracious and asked very probing questions...

It is nice to have people who know how to jerk with me...  Tells me that they are paying attention...

Uhhh, by the way, you can hear Marilyn and Donelle at: http://www.kaamradio.com/   or on radio at 660 AM - Fridays at 1 pm - or, check out their webcyte at: http://www.gardeninspirations-tx.com/ ...

...But can't forget our quite nice and gracious hostess, Bea - what a lovely person!
