For the first time (at least in many years), the TWGGA (http://www.txwines.org/) Annual Conference will be held from Thursday, Feb. 13th through Saturday, Feb 15th in Frisco.  If you grow grapes or are a wine-lover, this is a "must-do" event for you!  The association holds an annual public wine event in Grapevine - but this event is for professionals and the really serious.

We shall be the (really nice, insulated) wine bag sponsors, once again!  And of course, we'll be one of the many exhibitors!

In addition to vineyard supplies (trelises, irrigation, rootstock, etc.), winemaking equipment (need a wine press or high-volume winery equipment?) and supplies (do you need corks, bottles, labels, crates or barrels?) manufacturers, there will also be a number of custom wine specialty boutique crafts-folk present.

You can mix with the real viticulturalists (the folks who actually grow the grapes, comercially) and the winemakers - not every vineyard has its own winery - and vice-versa.

Most of Texas wine comes from west Texas and the Hill Country.  If you are a Texas wine-enjoyer, you can actually meet the owners of most of the Texas wineries and vineyards!  And of course, there are tasting opportunities all over the place...  Last year, I think there were around 50 different wines from many wineries (kinda lost track, after awhile... ;D).

Please have a look at TWGGA's website to see the agenda and plan to visit us for at least one of the days...
