href=\"http:\/\/northtexasvegetablegardeners.com\/citizengardener\">Citizen Gardener<\/a> class for about $25.<\/p>\n<p>Materials (use regular lumber, not chemical treated)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>QTY 1: 2 x 10 &#8211; 8\u2032<\/li>\n<li>QTY 1: 2 x 10 &#8211; 10\u2032<\/li>\n<li>QTY 1: 2 x 2 &#8211; 8&#8242;<\/li>\n<li>QTY 32: 2-1\/2\u2033 deck screws (1 lb box is enough)<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor wood glue (waterproof)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cut Lumber<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut the 2&#215;10-8\u2032\u00a0in half so you have 2 48\u2033 pieces<\/li>\n<li>Cut the 2&#215;10-10\u2032 into 2 51&#8243; of wood glue and deck screws.<\/li>\n<li>Attach the 2&#215;2-9&#8243; pieces to the long sides (51&#8243; pieces) &#8211; locate the piece 1-1\/2&#8243; from the edge of the board (1-1\/2&#8243; is the width of the other board)<\/li>\n<li>Attach 48&#8243; pieces (don&#8217;t forget to glue all mating surfaces)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure top edges of boards match so that top surface of bed will be level<\/li>\n<li>Check for squareness by comparing diagonal measurements<\/li>\n<li>Drill pilot holes to reduce the chances of splitting wood<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_417\"
