Title: Garden Tool Maintenance
Post by: dentondave on February 08, 2012, 06:07:29 PM
How do you keep your tools in good shape? My spades, spading form, deep spader, other long-handled tools, hand tools, all of 'em need some lovin'.

I read that keeping a sharp edge on your tools really helps cut down on labor, and after using a sharpened shovel, I believe it!

I left it outside last week when in rained though... now I have some rust!  too forgetful!

Here's a great article on this subject.  I was looking at my poor old tools the other day.  I felt kind of sorry for them.  They get put through a lot of abuse around me.  They get left out and sometimes get lost for days at a time...   :-[   Good luck!
