Hi everyone. Found this Forum through one of the Gardening Club web pages, can't remember now. I'm always wanting to learn about gardening. My biggest issue is having enough time and my own labor limitations as creating new gardens is hard work! I love the planting and maintenance of a garden!! I have dabbled with raised bed gardens but I haven't had great success with vegetables in them, only flowers. Looking to build some new ones this Spring and hope I can find some tips to make them successful!

Hi, Deanna. I'm doing my first raised bed vegetable garden. I have grown flowers in a bed that I built to cover a tree stump. Had great success with it.
I was making good progress with constructing my raised bed until I did something really boneheaded, which was to remove sod in a 5' x 12' area, then have wood cut to my originally planned dimensions of 5' x 7'. Doh!
