Title: Happy to be here!
Post by: cedarita on March 18, 2012, 03:25:59 PM

I was so tickled to find this board today! I'm looking forward to chatting and sharing information with people in the area.

My garden is in Cedar Hill. I based it on the Square Foot idea, and looking at some of the posts here it seems like that was probably a good idea. The garden is only going on its third year. First year was pretty awful. Last year was much better, in spite of the heat and drought. This year I'm once again planting and hoping for great things! I have lots to learn and look forward to exploring this site and hopefully finding some additional resources.

I blog about my veggies, ornamentals, and wildflowers: http://cedarita.wordpress.com/ (http://cedarita.wordpress.com/) It is to be hoped that 2012 is worthy of more veggie entries.

Thanks for being here!
