After many months of grief and travail, a new website, www.AskThePlant.com (http://www.AskThePlant.com) has been launched. While there is much work left to do and maybe things missing or don't quite work as planned, you might have a look at it and see what you think. It was designed to be fun, informative and easy to use. Hope you'll find it so.
It is intended to provide a place for public Q&A, a repository for agronomically-related papers ("Agronomy Notes") and a source for plant testing.
The site will be very frequenly updated as new Notes are published and new test suites are developed. There is even a page for contact info with a special e-mail address whereby you can contact me directly with your questions - whether about soil, water, plants, compost, fertilizer or heavy metals. If I don't have the answers, betcha I know somebody that does...
Even if you're not interested in plant tests, I hope you'll still have a look... and hope you'll look at it often, as work is being done on it almost every day.

...and holy h. moly, all a' all-ya'all! Suddendly, I'm seeing three starz! What's that all about - and where did that-all come from? - And whatza matter any of all-y'all??? In real life, I'm just your basic no-body, turnip-type German technician!!! Just ask Noel, Norma and/or Richard (they're kinda the only ones that are really up to dealing with me) at the lab (but we gotta lot of other really exceeding very cool people) - they'll tell ya all about me... Uhhh, here.... Tell me if you need the lab fone #... Any of 'em will set you straight - maybe especially the ones (with a buncha the alphabet behind their names) that I hardly ever get to talk to...
And, by the way, a recently-ex USDA-ARS senior research scientist has agreed to join us as VP-Research. Am still working on the press release for him - trying to figure out a way to reduce down all of his cool stuff and experience to something understandable to someoe with an I.Q. of at least 180.... Uh, still working on this....

Didn't notice that until you mentioned it. Very curious, indeed... Don't know where that picture came from...
