Title: Hi, from Paradise, Tx
Post by: CoyLou on March 07, 2015, 03:32:32 PM

I've gardened off and on for years.  We've lived near Paradise/Bridgeport almost 20 years and had large & small gardens.  As we get older we are limiting ourselves to container gardens.  A lot different gardening here north of Fort Worth compared to gardening near Cedar Creek Lake, where I had my best gardens in the sandy, acid soil there.  For several years we spent a lot of time trying to grow things here that do so well on the east side of I35, without much luck.  But drop a few squash seeds in the ground and we can feed the world!  Awaiting my mail order seeds and some better weather and I'll be ready to see what this year brings.
Looking forward to being a part of this group.
