Hello from Frisco
« on: January 28, 2012, 10:43:23 AM »
I am the newbiest of newbies, and after reading other intros, I know this to be true!

As you can imagine, i have a tiny yard here in Frisco. Because of sloping, we decided to start with Earthboxes. I don't see these mentioned a lot on here, probably because others have more room and experience.  Maybe one day we can take the training wheels off!  :-)

We have had some success with strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, squash, peppers, and cucumbers.  We are looking to improve what we have done in the past. I don't think that it's the Earthboxes as they seem to work well....it's more the lack of experience on our part.

I'm glad to find a forum that is based on our climate here. I look forward to learning a lot!  Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the community Cindy!

I'm not sure any one way is better than another, but lots of debate on those things for sure.  I had to google what an earthbox was because I wasn't sure.

Love to see some pictures of your plants and hear more about how things work out!
