Greetings. I used to live in the north Texas area, Wylie to be exact, but moved back to the east in 2008, to start an organic fertilizer company. I had no idea it was going to be so hard, or take so long. But things are picking up.
I am a lifelong gardener, having been reared on a farm in Mississippi. The last home I owned in Texas was on a one acre lot just outside of Wylie. The fact that the home had a flourishing organic garden is why it only took 24 hours to get a contract on the home when I sold it, even with a less than ideal real estate market.
I post on here not as Mighty Grow to be all commercial, but simply to serve as a resource. I do still have ties to north Texas, and travel back from time to time to see my daughter, but I do not currently have distribution in Texas, at least not yet. Since my CFO resides in Garland, I hope to move that along fairly quickly. I have been selling my fertilizer by the truckload to a contractor in Harris county that is using it for creek bank restoration work. That has been a great help to the cash flow side of the company.
So, if I can be of assistance, please let me know I am on Facebook as "Mighty Grow" and have just started a group (
http://www.facebook.com/groups/133354663453666/) dedicated to growing nutrient dense food. I view "organic" as a great place to START, but by no means the end of the journey.
Michael
