Anns garden
« on: February 26, 2012, 09:11:25 AM »
I'm a clutz in the garden, but enjoy seeing things grow.  I started a backyard garden last year but had trouble with it during the summer.  Tomatoes are so hard to grow, but I love the smell of a tomato plant, not the fruit but the vine itself.  Lettuce seems easy to grow and is so enjoyable to pluck and eat!

tomato plant smell=puppy breath=dirt=wild onions=rain on hot pavement
I have tons of trouble with tomato plants also. I can get them huge, but they always succumb to some sort of disease...

Ann - What kind of fertilizer are you using on your tomatoes?  And are the leaves cupped, curled, or deformed?
