No-dig gardening in Iowa Park (Wichita Falls)
« on: December 20, 2019, 09:46:43 AM »
Glad to find this forum. I have decades of row-crop growing experience NONE of it in Texas! New to zone 7b and Texas. Gardened in coastal So Cal and Weld County Colorado, always in gorgeous sandy loan soil. So... I'm doing no dig method in Iowa Park w 1000g rainwater collection system (expanding to 1400+ g in 2020) and monthly 600+g filtered greywater system. Total planting beds size about 700sf. Passionate about melons, beans, eggplant, winter squash and chard/kale/dandelions/herbs. Prepping for 2020 planting of Muscadine grapes (50ft Geneva Double Curtain Trellis.) I need ALL of you as mentors! Thank you in advance for your wisdom!! Merry Christmas.
