Free Event: Bring your seeds for swapping

Summary:
Be prepared for your spring gardens with a variety of seeds! Let’s exchange, save on cost, and pick up valuable tips from other people’s garden experiences. Snacks, Prizes, Fun!
Details:
Community of Hope UMC has a community garden. This is a perfect setting for our MeetUp. It is time to ready for Spring Planting. Seeds are expensive and usually packaged more than what we require for our home gardens. So let’s share and swap!
Plus, it is always good to get together and exchange garden stories, know-how, phone photos, and such. If you have other garden-related materials to exchange or donate to other gardeners, please bring items with you.
If you have snack foods or treats to share, bring these too. It’s a party, so let’s have fun! We may even have a drawing for a few prizes!
We have inside area to hold our MeetUp, so no matter what the weather, come on!
There will be time to introduce yourself. Also, a facilitated discussion about Types of seeds, GMOs, Getting seeds started early, Seed storage and saving, and More.
What to bring:
1. Seeds! Many gardeners prefer organic seeds. Please label your seed packages.
2. Any other garden supplies you might have for exchange or giveaway.
3. A snack to share (optional)
