I ordered 6 yards 3/2023. Driver completed a complicated delivery to alley entrance to yard. I had the soil tested for nutrients, all at or above optimal levels except for nitrogen and manganese. Ph was 6.83. Overall I’m happy with the quality and cost of the soil and the customer service. I feel that it performed well for first year soil.

Garden mix was mostly sand, pea gravel, and un-composted woodchips.

We added some of the garden mix to our already amended soil and it was horrible! Severely lacked nitrogen and I had to supplement for several weeks to get my plants looking decent and producing. I do not recommend at all.

Purchased to fill raised beds and mix in with our native soil. Nothing grew! Soil was lacking nitrogen. Worst soil buying decision ever.

Based on microscope assessment (and performance): I have looked (under microscope) at nearly all the bagged products available in the Dallas area and Texas Pure has the most dense and diverse beneficial soil microbe populations. When partnered with worm castings, Azomite, and mulch placed on top, Texas Pure has performed well with production and health of crops.

As a community garden program director we started using Texas Pure products many years ago and have always had excellent results. Frequently we encounter other projects that have had poor growth and other problems with soils from other sources. We have not tried these other sources, and why go elsewhere when experience has shown Texas Pure products to be excellent. Highly recommend.

I’ve had good results in my raised bed using the soil from Texas Pure. They also put their rough mulch on sale sometimes for a crazy cheap price.
